4) Rest Your Body
Getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night leaves you alert and ready for anything you may encounter throughout your day. Another article from WedMD says that without adequate sleep (7-9 hours a night) individuals will have increased tension, vigilance, and irritability. Additionally, you will be fatigue which will make you not want to workout (another happiness booster). The morale is that getting enough sleep should be a big priority in your life for both increased happiness and productivity.
5) Spend Time With Family And Friends
Studies have found that healthy relationships with your family and friends are linked with living longer and happier lives. "Having a better social life can be worth as much as an additional $131,232 a year in terms of life satisfaction," according to the British Household Panel Survey. 6) Viva la Color Yellow
The color yellow is associated with happiness, joy, and sunshine. Just by painting your walls yellow or decorating a room in your house with yellow pillows or decorations you can boost your daily happiness. Try adding a little more yellow in your life today.

Do something nice for someone else everyday, volunteer for a cause you are passionate about and say thank you often. By spreading positivity and appreciation you will find that your mood and actions will be contagious. On top of that, by thinking about all the things that you are grateful for you can boost your outlook on life.
8) Be Selfish
Our last tip is to really think about the things or people that make you happy in life and then to make those things and people your priorities. Worry less about what others think will make you happy and do what you think will make you happy. The more that you put your emotional and mental health first, the happier your life will be. 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup raw, unsalted pumpkin seeds without shells (we only had seeds with shells when we made this recipe, which is harder to eat that way, so make sure your pumpkin seeds are de-shelled)
2 Tbl ground flax meal
2 Tbl flax seed
2 Tbl coconut flakes
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp coconut oil (melted)
1 tsp pure hazelnut or vanilla extract (no alcohol)
3/4 cup of almond milk
2 Tbl pure agave syrup (maple syrup works too)
1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
1/3 cup coconut sugar
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish. Set aside.
Combine all your dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix all your wet ingredients together.
Mix your wet and dry ingredients throughly together.
Once your mixture is well combined, add it all into baking dish and spread the mixture evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes (until browned).
Let cool for about 20 minutes. Then cut and enjoy.
